Michelle Reimers

Turlock Irrigation District, General Manager

Michelle Reimers was born in raised in Stanislaus County and received her B.A. in Organizational Communications from California State University Stanislaus. Michelle joined the Turlock Irrigation District (TID) in August 2006 and was appointed to her present position of Assistant General Manager, External Affairs in September 2016. She is responsible for managing the strategic planning and development for the District’s communications, outreach, education and government affairs programs and initiatives. In addition to working at TID, Michelle and her husband Ted own and operate Black Butte Orchards, farming 75 acres of almonds and 50 acres of walnuts. They have been married for 11 years and have two children, Jasper (8) and Wyatt (5).
